Biography
Chiara Enzo was born in 1989, in Venice, Italy, where she lives and works. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice (2008-18) and De Montfort University in Leicester, United Kingdom (2013-14).
Chiara Enzo’s artistic practice focuses on the relationship between the Self and the Other, at the fulcrum of which the body is placed; perceived as a vulnerable, alienating and contradictory topos. Developed by means of drawing and painting, with a dominant use of pastels, and an attention to the relationship which interposes between the work and the observer, her work is articulated in a series of images that embody an analytical, restless look focusing on minimal and fragmentary experiences.
